A signal is what your own TradingView alert sends. Make one for each strategy or indicator you want to trade, then choose which accounts follow it. Signals from channels you join need none of this.
Create one
In the side menu, choose Signals and press New Signal. It is there while you have an active subscription.
Fill in Name. If another signal already has it, the page says Could not create signal. Name must be unique.
Under Signal Source, choose TradingView Strategy or TradingView Indicator. The source can't be changed later: Strategies and indicators.
Press Next. A strategy is created there and then, and its page opens.
For an indicator, Add parameters opens instead. Choose the Trade type, Buy or Sell, and the Quantity each alert asks for, which each account then sizes: Sizing: multiply or fixed.
Switch on Dynamic TP and SL only if the indicator plots its own take profit and stop loss.
Press Create.
Description and TradingView Layout Link are optional. In Automation, + Add a signal on a phone's Signals tab and + Add signal in a desktop's left column open the same form.
If Signals asks you to accept the Important Disclosures and the Terms of Service, tick both and press Accept & Continue.
What the signal's page shows
The page opens as soon as the signal is created.
Source: which kind of signal it is.
Parameters, for an indicator: its trade type, quantity and exit settings.
Webhook URL, with Copy. It is the same for all your signals.
Message, with Copy Message. Every signal has its own.
Both go into your TradingView alert: Set up a TradingView alert. To find them again, open Signals and press the signal. On a desktop, Webhook on the signal in Automation opens the same page.
Change or delete it
Edit changes the name and description and, for an indicator, its parameters. The Message changes with the name and the parameters, so paste the new one into the signal's alert.
Delete asks you to Confirm Delete, and can't be undone. Take the signal off its accounts first, and delete its alert in TradingView.
Next
A new signal is on no account yet. In Automation, it is listed under Signals with the tag OWN: Put a signal on an account.
