Copy trade from a leader account

Trade one account by hand and let your other accounts copy every trade, each with its own instrument and size.

A leader is an account you trade by hand. Every position it opens, adds to or closes becomes a signal that your other accounts, its followers, copy, each with its own instrument and size.

Make an account a leader

  1. In Automation, open Copy: the tab on a phone, the switch at the top of the left column on a desktop.

  2. On a phone, press + Use another account as leader. On a desktop, press + Use an account as leader in the left column. Pick the account you trade by hand.

  3. Fill in Name this leader, and under Instruments it leads on pick the exact contract you trade: NQ or MNQ, not both.

  4. Press Create leader.

Or start from the account: Use as leader… on a phone, Use as leader on a desktop.

A leader carries no agents, because the service could not tell their trades from yours. If the account has some, the sheet names them: switch on Remove the 2 agents on this account, with your number, to go ahead. Deleting an agent closes nothing it holds.

Make the leader while the account is flat. If it already holds that instrument, copying starts once that position has closed.

Add followers

  1. Open the leader's card and press + Add.

  2. Choose what the follower trades: the leader's contract, or its mini or micro.

  3. Tick the accounts. One that cannot follow says why, such as leads itself.

  4. Under Size, choose × leader or = fixed, and the number. At ×2, a leader trading 1 contract means 2 on the follower. At = fixed, the follower holds that many whenever the leader is in a trade.

  5. Press Add follower. With the switch left on, it copies the next trade, exit included.

Trade, and get out

Trade the leader anywhere, such as your broker's own platform, or from the app's test center: Test a signal.

While the leader holds a position, its card says IN TRADE, and FLATTEN followed by the leader's name closes your hand trade. The followers copy the exit and stay on for the next one. A follower in a trade has its own flatten too.

Change or stop a leader

On the open card, press the pen next to the leader's name. Tick or untick instruments and press Save tickers. Unticking an instrument removes the followers on it.

Stop leading in the same sheet makes it an ordinary account again. Its followers are deleted, and nothing they hold is closed.
