Your service's status shows beside its name at the top of Automation, on a desktop and on a phone, and again in its details under ⋮. The dot beside it is green when it is running, amber while it starts or stops, red when something is wrong, and grey when it is off. If you have more than one service, press the name to switch between them.
The statuses
Off: not running, because it has not been started yet or you stopped it. Nothing trades. Start it: see Start and stop your service.
Starting service: on its way up, which takes a minute or two. Wait, and the page says when it is ready to trade. If it takes more than five minutes, the status turns to Service not responding.
Running: trading your signals. Nothing to do.
Stopping: shutting down after a stop. Wait for Off before you start it again.
Service not responding: started, but not answering. Signals arriving now are not traded, open positions are not managed, and flattening can't work. If it isn't back within a minute, close your positions on your broker's own platform and choose Report a problem. See The service is not responding.
Stopped unexpectedly: it stopped without anyone pressing stop. Start it again. You can also see this after paying a late renewal, when nothing is wrong: start it again then too.
Stopped — renewal not paid: it stopped because a renewal is unpaid. Update your payment method under Subscriptions, then start it. See When a renewal is late or your subscription ends.
Suspended — contact support: the team has suspended your automation, and it can't be started. Press Help and talk to the team.
Running (old setup) or Running elsewhere: rare. Press Help and tell the team.
When it needs you
On a desktop, a service that is not responding also shows under Needs attention, above the middle column, and Details opens the service's details. On a phone, a card for it takes the place of Needs attention at the top of Home: The service is not responding.
Still stuck? Press Help in the app: Leeloo, the AI assistant, answers from these articles, and the team is one click away.
