Register your service address with your prop firm

Where to find the IP address your service trades from, when it changes, and how to say you have registered a new one.

Your service trades from its own IP address, shown as Service address, and it is yours alone. Many prop firms ask you to register the address you trade from, and some read two accounts trading from one address as one person running both. So give your firm this address.

Find it

  1. Open Automation. On a phone, press ⋮ at the top. On a desktop, press ⋮ in the top bar and choose Service details, or press your service's name and choose Service details….

  2. Under Service address, press Copy, and give the address to your firm.

The address appears once your service has started. If you have more than one service, each one has its own address, so register each.

When it changes

It stays the same when you stop and start your service yourself, through updates, and when a late renewal stopped it. It changes only rarely.

When it does:

  • We email you, with the old and the new address. If you have linked your Discord account, you get a message there too.

  • Your service's details say Register this address with your firm above the new address.

Register the new address with your firm straight away: trading from an address your firm has not been told about can put your account at risk. Then press I've updated it, and the heading goes back to Service address. Only you can clear it.
