Service not responding means your service was started but has stopped answering. While it lasts, it trades nothing and can't close anything for you.
Where you see it
The status at the top of Automation says Service not responding, in red, on a desktop and on a phone.
On a desktop, Needs attention at the top of the middle column lists it. Details opens the service's details.
On a phone, Home leads with a card saying that signals arriving now are not being traded, and that open positions are not being managed.
Right after a start, the status says Starting service for up to five minutes before it can say this.
What doesn't work
Signals that arrive now are not traded, and your open positions are not managed.
Nothing can be closed from Automation. FLATTEN ALL is greyed out, and so is FLATTEN ALL & STOP AGENTS on a phone, where each position says can't flatten.
The figures are the last ones the service reported. Connections say service off, and a phone shows LAST SEEN over your open positions.
What still works
Your setup is kept. A change to an agent reads saved, and applies when the service is back.
Report a problem works, and so does Help.
What to do
Give it a minute. It can come back by itself, and the status then says Running again.
If it isn't back, close your open positions on your broker's own platform. Until you do, they stay open at your broker with nothing managing them.
Press Report a problem, on the phone's card or under ⋮. Your service's recent log goes with it: see Report a problem.
If the status says Stopped unexpectedly instead, the service has stopped: see What your service status means.
Still stuck? Press Help in the app: Leeloo, the AI assistant, answers from these articles, and the team is one click away.
