Using ClearEdge on your phone

The phone layout and its tabs, adding ClearEdge to your Home Screen for push alerts, and what the phone can and can't do.

Open my.clearedge.trading in your phone's browser and choose Automation in the side menu. On a phone it shows one screen at a time, with tabs along the bottom. From 1024 px wide the tabs sit in the top row instead, and from 1280 px you get the desktop layout.

The tabs

  • Home: what needs attention, your open and realised P&L, FLATTEN ALL & STOP AGENTS, your connections and your open positions.

  • Connections: each broker login and its accounts, and + Add a connection. Matrix, at the top, shows them as on a desktop: see below.

  • Signals: your own signals and your broadcasters'. Open one to choose the accounts that trade it.

  • Copy: accounts you trade by hand, and the accounts that follow them.

  • Activity: what your service did, signal by signal.

  • Help: these articles, Leeloo and the team.

At the top, the menu button opens the side menu, and your service's name shows its status. ⋮ opens its details: Service address, updates, Test center…, Report a problem… and Stop service. When something needs you, Needs attention shows above every tab, and Home carries a count.

The Matrix

In Connections, press Matrix for every account down the side and every strategy across the top, as on a desktop. Each tile is an agent: its contract and size, such as MNQ ×1. In a trade it shows which way and its open P&L. A dashed tile is switched off.

  • Swipe sideways through the strategies, or press a name above the board, such as Leaders or a broadcaster's, to jump there.

  • Press a tile for Edit, Armed, New agent here and Delete, and Flatten while it holds a position.

  • Hold a tile to switch its agent on or off without opening anything. Once your service has taken it, the tile says Armed or Disarmed for a moment.

  • Press an empty cell to put that strategy on that account.

  • Press an account's name to open it. Each account shows its size and its day, with a bar towards its daily limits when it has them.

  • Filters chooses which accounts and strategies the board shows.

  • + Add a connection, at the bottom of the board, adds a broker login. So does + Add connection in its top-left corner.

  • Turn your phone on its side and the board takes the whole screen. Press List for the cards again.

Add it to your Home Screen

On a phone, Automation offers Get ClearEdge on your Home Screen at the top of the page.

  • On an iPhone or iPad, press Show me how. In Safari, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then open ClearEdge from your Home Screen.

  • On Android, press Add to Home Screen. If your browser doesn't offer it, open the browser's menu and choose Add to Home screen there.

Turn on push notifications

Opened from your Home Screen, Automation offers Turn on push notifications. Press Enable notifications and allow them. That phone then gets alerts even when the app is closed, such as when an order fails or a broker disconnects. On an iPhone, push only works once ClearEdge is on your Home Screen.

Choose which alerts reach your phone under Notifications: see Notifications. If the page says Notifications are blocked, allow notifications for ClearEdge in your phone's settings, then come back.

What the phone does, and what it doesn't

  • Almost everything works on the phone: connections, signals on accounts, copy trading, limits, flattening, tests and your service address.

  • When your service is off, Home leads with Your service is not running: press START THE SERVICE. ⋮ has Start service too, and Stop service while it runs.

  • The desktop's Wiring is not on the phone. The Matrix is: see above.

Still stuck? Press Help in the app: Leeloo, the AI assistant, answers from these articles, and the team is one click away.
