A connection brings in the accounts its login has at your broker or firm. Each account carries its own agents and limits.
Find them
Once a connection has signed in, its accounts are listed under it. On a desktop, choose Connections in the left column, then press a connection to unfold its accounts, or All accounts for a table per connection. On a phone, they are under each connection on Home, and on the connection's page in the Connections tab.
A Simulated connection's accounts are the practice accounts you made: Practise with simulated accounts.
Name them
Firms give accounts long ids. To use a name you recognise:
Open the connection. Press Settings on a desktop, or the cog and Connection settings on a phone.
Type a name in the account's field, which shows its id until you do.
Press Save.
Only you see the name. Your broker still calls the account by its id, and so do your agents. Clear the field to go back to the id.
LIVE, PROP and SIM
Each connection wears a mark beside its name:
SIM: a Simulated connection. Nothing in it is real.
PROP: every Tradovate, TopstepX and Rithmic connection for now, because all of them are added in Demo. It says how the connection was added, not whose money it trades.
LIVE: a Live login, which can't be added yet.
When you have more than one kind, buttons such as PROP, SIM and ALL show just those connections, and the figures at the top count only what is shown. On a desktop they are in the top bar. On a phone, press the funnel at the top.
New accounts
The service looks for new accounts at your broker every 10 minutes. Bought one just now? Press Re-read accounts in Connection settings, and it appears within a few seconds.
Its high-water mark
An account's settings end with its High-water mark: the best it has done, which is what a trailing drawdown is measured from. Open them with the cog at the top right of the account's page.
Peak equity: its highest balance with open trades counted.
Peak balance: its highest balance after closed trades.
Best session close: its highest at the end of a trading day, which is what most firms trail.
Now says how far below its peak equity the account is. Resetting a practice account starts its high-water mark over.
When your firm closes an account
If your broker stops listing an account, because it was closed, liquidated or renamed, nothing is sent to it any more. Its page says the connection no longer lists this account. It is marked not at broker on a phone's connection page, and gone in the desktop's left column.
Its agents and daily limits are removed by themselves once the broker has left it out twice in a row, about a quarter of an hour. To remove them at once, press the button on its page, such as Remove 2 agents now. With no agents left, the account leaves the list.
