Flattening closes positions at whatever the market gives. Switching an agent off stops it taking signals, and closes nothing.
Flatten everything
On a desktop, press FLATTEN ALL in the top bar. On a phone, press FLATTEN ALL & STOP AGENTS on Home, or FLATTEN ALL in the top row from 1024 px wide.
Flatten everything? counts what it closes: every position on every connection, trades you placed yourself included.
Set Also switch every agent off. On, as it starts, it switches every agent off until you switch them back on. Off, agents keep running, and the next signal can open a trade again.
Press FLATTEN ALL & STOP AGENTS. It says this either way: only the switch decides whether agents stop.
If the sheet turns into Could not reach the service, close the positions it lists on your broker's own platform, or press Try again. While the service isn't responding, nothing can be flattened from Automation.
Flatten one position or a group
flatten beside a position closes it at once. It is on the account's screen and under Open positions: on a phone's Home, or a desktop's right-hand column.
There, positions from one signal or one leader are grouped, and flatten group closes a group once you confirm.
On a connection's page, Flatten 3 trades, with the number open, closes everything on that connection.
On a signal's page, Flatten all & switch off closes what that signal holds and switches it off on every account. Once nothing is open, Turn every account back on switches it on again.
All but the last leave agents on, so a new signal can open one again.
Switch agents off and on
One agent: its switch on the account's screen (the On column on a desktop), or Armed in its editor, then SAVE CHANGES.
Every agent on an account: the control on its row in a connection, Arm on a desktop. All 3 switches all 3 off, Off · 3 all on, and the arrow beside it lets you choose.
Once the service confirms, applying… beside the agent turns into on, flat, its position, or off. saved means the service is off: the change applies when it is back.
A switched-off agent doesn't trade its signal at all, exits included, so flatten what it holds too.
The service also switches an agent off when an order fails, and sometimes when a signal arrives while its connection is down. Needs attention then offers Turn back on or Leave off.
