You sign in at my.clearedge.trading with your email address and password. Two-factor authentication adds a second step on top of the password. It is optional.
At my.clearedge.trading, enter your Email Address and Password.
Leave Remember Me ticked to stay signed in on this browser.
Press Login.
Wrong email or password. means one of the two is wrong. Forgotten the password? Press Forgot your password? and see Reset your password. To sign out, press your picture at the bottom of the side menu and choose Logout.
Turn on two-factor with an authenticator app
Press your picture at the bottom of the side menu and choose Profile. On a phone, open the side menu first with the menu button at the top left.
Under Sign-in security, press Set up authenticator app.
Choose Set up an authenticator app and press Continue.
Scan the QR code with an app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, or type in the key shown beneath it. The app lists it as ClearEdge.
Enter the six digits the app shows and press Confirm.
Your profile then says Two-factor on. From now on, every sign-in with your password is followed by Confirm it's you: enter the code from the app and press Sign in. If you have a passkey as well, you choose Passkey or Authenticator app there first.
To turn it off, press Change or turn off, choose Turn the authenticator app off and press Continue.
When a page asks for your password again
Changing two-factor, a passkey or your email address needs your password typed in the last ten minutes. If it was longer ago, Confirm your password comes first, so that nobody at an unlocked screen can switch your protection off. Enter your Password and press Continue, or press Use my passkey if you have one. It then leaves you alone for ten minutes.
If you lose your phone
New phone, old one still in hand: press Change or turn off in your profile, choose Replace it with a different authenticator app, press Continue, and scan the new code with the new phone.
Phone gone, passkey on another device: sign in with the passkey instead.
No other way in: write to the team at [email protected]. They reset the second step, so you can sign in with your password and set it up again.
Once you are back in, changing your password signs out every other device, the lost phone included.
