Linking your Discord account to ClearEdge puts you in the ClearEdge community on Discord. It is free, and optional.

What it gives you

  • The ClearEdge Discord server. Get help, share ideas and meet other traders. Linking adds you to it.

  • Notifications by Discord message, if you switch them on. See Notifications.

  • A message if your service's IP address changes, as well as the email.

  • Your Discord picture as your picture at the bottom of the side menu.

Link it

  1. Press your picture at the bottom of the side menu and choose Profile. On a phone, open the side menu first with the menu button at the top left.

  2. On the Discord card, press Connect your Discord account.

  3. Discord opens. Sign in there if it asks, and approve the request: it lets ClearEdge see who you are on Discord and add you to the server.

  4. Back at ClearEdge, You're all set up on our Discord server! means you are in.

If it says Almost there — click below to join our Discord server! instead, press Join Discord Server.

You can also start from Connect on the Discord card of the Notifications page.

Once it is linked

The Discord card in your profile shows your Discord name and picture. Choose which events reach you by Discord on the Notifications page. To check that messages get through, press Test on its Discord card: a test message arrives in your Discord direct messages.

Unlink it

On the Discord card in your profile, press Disconnect. You leave the ClearEdge Discord server when you do.

To use a different Discord account, press Disconnect, then Connect your Discord account, and sign in to Discord with the other account.
